The house is in a residence built on a hill that has been a mix of locals and loyal vacationers for many years. Many colorful trees and flowers brighten up the surroundings, where the view is the most admirable point of interest. The house is close to other houses, but each retains its privacy. Parking in the allée des Pinsons (little traffic apart from local residents). You'll need to bring your own car to go shopping and explore the beaches and mountains, although you can still walk down to the center of Porticcio (20 minutes down, 30 minutes up). Porticcio is a lively seaside resort with something for everyone, whatever their age.
Just 5 minutes from the house, there's a pier where you can take the sea shuttle to Ajaccio. The crossing takes 20 minutes and there are several rotations a day all year round. Sea excursions are also available from Porticcio to Bonifacio, the Illes Sanguinaires, the Calanques de Piana and the Scandola nature reserve.
